Hi, I'm Dom. I'm a science filmmaker.

 

I've produced, presented and directed original science content for BBC Earth Lab,

The Guardian, and my YouTube channel Dom Burgess.

 

I love the whole nose-to-tail process of making scicomm videos from initial concepts all the way through to the editing process.

But I don't simply present facts.

I aim to make each video unique and visually engaging, with an overarching narrative to entertain viewers of all ages.

 

Science can be uninspiring if not communicated properly and it's true that the best way for anyone to learn is by making it fun.

 

I bring together my skills as a presenter and film maker to make this happen.
